Life is a series of profound moments...
...I intend to ease moments-of-suffering in the Lives of the people I serve as a ThanaDoula.
My Approach to the people's lives I intersect with as a ThanaDoula is reflective of all that makes up my philosophies, those which I practice applying in my own life.
My Philosophy is vast, and multi-dimensional. I am spiritual, and I am realistic. I am modern, and also old-fashioned. I am sincere, and I practice being so.
I start where you are in your own life, I do not expect anything of you, I will respect that you have lived your lives thus far, so you will let me know how I can be of service during these sacred times.
I create space where I go, in a metaphoric sense, for people to let out what needs to come out. I bring a safe honest caring nurturing space.
I intend to deepen, and also lighten individuals and family/communities lives.
I intend to listen more then talk. I intend to smile, rather than not :) And I may cry, with you- as that is Human.
I understand that the experience of living and dying is not easy, or simple. I know I can work together with You, and Your loved Ones (friends, lovers, family) with calm, kind intentional support to make it more-so.
My Mother died of Breast cancer when I was 7-years old, and it set up my life, to be aware of the complexity, yet simplicity, of death, and of life.
